The Federal Government has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari will Friday, travel to London, in the United Kingdom, for a medical trip.
Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity to Buhari stated this on Thursday in Abuja.
According to him, Mr President will spend about three weeks for a medical check-up.
Recall that President Buhari had, on March 30, undertaken a similar trip, which kept him in the United Kingdom for about two weeks.
Four months later, on June 6-19, 2016, President Buhari went on a 10-day medical trip to England for an ear infection surgery. The president subsequently extended the trip by three days to rest.
On January 19, 2017, Buhari went to London again on a medical vacation.
You will recall that on February 5, 2017, President Buhari wrote the National Assembly, seeking an extension of his London medical leave which was granted.
Moreover, on May 8, 2018, Buhari went to London for a four-day medical review.
Recall that the Nigerian Senate had issued a warning to State House officials that, henceforth, President Buhari should stop embarking on foreign trips for medical attention.
