APC Socio-Political Group In Ondo Opposes endorsement Of Akeredolu

Rotimi Akeredolu

The Unity Mandate Agenda, The All Progressives Congress (APC) socio-political group in Ondo State, has opposed the reported endorsement of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu by the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

It said reported comments of Oshiomhole looked like an easy ride to another term in office for Akeredolu and the adverse impact on the resolve of the Unity Forum to have a change within the APC for the leadership of the state.

The National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Babatope Abisola, in a statement issued in Akure, alleged that Akeredolu used N850million to bribe the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC.

He said Oshiomhole and the NWC have not denied the bribery allegation.

Abisola accused Senator Ajayi Boroffice of creating the template of crisis in order for him to either allow Akeredolu go for another term or to install a puppet governor.
