COVID-19: Emir Gathers Crowd For Prayer, Tasks Qur’anic School Teachers, Clerics To Shutdown Centres

Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouq on Saturday organised a special prayer against coronavirus which drew a crowd to the open field.

This is just as he also directed all Qur’anic school teachers and clerics of all sects to immediately shut down their centres in strict compliance with the state government’s policy.

Emir  Farouq led residents in a special prayer session against the deadly coronavirus

During the prayer session held at the foreground of his palace,  the Katsina Emir asked residents to see the horrific virus as a test from the Almighty Allah.

He said the coronavirus outbreak is as deadlier than Boko Haram, urging the people to prayed to Allah that it would be over as early as possible.

Emir Farouq urged them to intensify prayers against the outbreak and other untimely death-related diseases.
