COVID-19 Situation Report For Nigeria

Two hundred and forty-two (242) cases were reported in the last 24 hours in 14 states – Lagos (88), Kano (64), Katsina (49), Kaduna (13), Ogun (9), Gombe (6), Adamawa (4), FCT (3), Borno (1), Bauchi (1), Ondo (1), Oyo (1), Rivers (1), and Zamfara (1) • No new state recorded a confirmed COVID-19 case in the last 24 hours. The total number of states including FCT that have reported at least one confirmed case in Nigeria is still 35 (34 states + FCT). • One hundred and twenty-four (124) cases were discharged in the last 24 hours in twelve (12) states – Gombe (43), Lagos (33), Kano (13), Ogun (6), Sokoto (6), Ekiti (5), Ondo (5), Adamawa (4), Jigawa (4), Kaduna (3), Bauchi (1) and Zamfara (1). • Ten (10) deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in four (4) states – Kano (6), Zamfara (2), Ondo (1), and Rivers (1) • Three (3) new laboratories activated: University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH)- Port Harcourt, Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH)- Port Harcourt, University of Benin Teaching Hospital PCR (UBTH)- Benin • The global number of confirmed.
