DSS Arrest Igbo Man Who Threatens To Import IPOB To Lagos, As Fellow Igbos Disown Him

Prominent Igbo Leaders group in Lagos State, “Igbo Council Of Ndieze “, has distanced itself from a recent trending viral video credited to Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate , Eze Fredrick Nwajiagu,  threatening to invite the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra , IPOB, to secure property of Igbo People in lagos state.

This is even as the said Eze Nwajiagu was said to have been arrested this morning in a hotel room in Ejigbo area of Lagos State by a combined team of police and DSS Operatives.

Speaking in an interview with the News Planet International this morning before the said arrest of Eze Nwajiagu, Chairman of  Ndieze council , Eze Christopher Offia, expressed disappointment with the  trending viral video.

Eze Offia,  who spoke on behalf of the Council Of Ndieze in Lagos, condemned the action by Eze Nwajiagu , stating categorically that  Eze Nwajiagu is not their member , adding that his group has nothing to do with the said trending viral video.

He said: ” The Council of Ndieze Ndigbo Lagos State hereby disassociate ourselves from Eze Frederick Nwajiagu (Eze Ndigbo Ajao Estate) threat to invite IPOB to Lagos.

“Frederick Nwajiagu is not our spokesman and he’s not representing Council of Ndieze Ndigbo Lagos State either.

Therefore, he should be held responsible and accountable for his actions.

“NDIEZE Members are law abiding and hard working people with legitimate means of living.

Peaceful co-existence among our landlords and chief hosts remains uppermost in our heart and duty.

“On behalf of Council of Ndieze Ndigbo Lagos State we strongly warn all Ndigbo in Lagos to be law abiding and go out for their normal business engagements,Eze Offia concluded.

It would be recalled that in a video  that went viral on Friday, Nwajagu threatened to invite members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra to secure the properties of Igbo people in the state.

He said, “IPOB, we will invite them. They have no job. All of the IPOB will protect all of our shops. And we have to pay them. We have to mobilise for that. We have to do that. We must have our security so that they will stop attacking us at midnight, in the morning, and in the afternoon.

“When they discover that we have our security before they will come, they will take caution. I am not saying a single word to be hidden. I am not hiding my words, let my words go viral. Igbo must get their right and get a stand in Lagos State,” he added.

According to Source, a team of police and DSS were said to have stormed  his palace in Ajao Estate  earlier Saturday morning but noticed that Nwajiagu  had already fled. He was later traced to a hotel in Ejigbo where he was arrested.
