How Gov Wike Saved Joy Nunieh, Ex-NDDC From 15 Armed Policemen Harrassment

Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers Governor stormed the home of the embattled former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Joy Nunieh to rescue her from alleged police harassment.

Wike had since moved Nunieh to the Government House to avoid further harassment by the Nigerian police.

Sources said the Governor relocated Nunieh, who was supposed to be in Abuja to testify before the ad-hoc committee of the House of Representatives investigating alleged corruption in the NDDC, to the Government House in Port Harcourt.

It was gathered that Wike arrived at the house, which was surrounded by over 15 armed policemen, in the morning.

An eye witness said Governor Wike forced himself into the building and zoomed off with Joy Nunieh
