How Much Ransom Did C.A.N Pay For Leader’s Release?

Bishop Joseph Masin, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Nasarawa chapter, who was abducted by gunmen last Thursday at his residence in Lafia has been released.

His son said the cleric was reunited with the family around 1:48 am their at Bukan Sidi residence in Lafia on Sunday.

He stated he had been taken for medical examination in an undisclosed hospital.

Commissioner of Police in Nasarawa state, Bola Longe, also confirmed the release of the cleric.

He denied any ransom was paid to secure the release of the chairman.

He explained that four suspects had been arrested in connection with the incident and would soon be charged to court once the investigation was concluded.

My dear readers, would you believe that the kidnappers demanded N20m ransom to release Masin.

I wonder what those abductors will use that money for.
