Kumuyi Insists On Use Of Twitter For These Reasons

The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, has explained why he would continue to use the microblogging platform, Twitter despite the ban by President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Kumuyi via his Twitter handle @pastorwf_kumuyi on Monday said that the content shared on his Twitter handle is targeted at Deeper Life global audience in more than five continents and over 100 countries.

He tweet: ”In view of the Twitter ban in Nigeria, please note that the content shared on this handle is targeted at a global audience in more than 5 continents and over 100 Nations and we share the content from any of these locations.”

Kumuyi who joined Twitter in May 2019 has 36.1k followers across the world.

Recall that after the ban on Twitter by the federal government, the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, ordered the arrest and prosecution of anyone found using the social media platform.

Similarly,  Pastor Enoch Adeboye had on Friday also reiterated that he would continue to use his Twitter handle to reach his audience globally.

Adeboye said: ”Adeboye via his Twitter handle @PastorEAAdeboye on Monday said: ”The Redeemed Christian Church of God is domiciled in more than 170 Nations & Territories..”

He explained, ”The tweets here are in accordance with Article 19 of the UN universal declaration of Human Rights.”
