Kyari Explains Cause Of Monday Early Hour Fire At Abule Ado Again

Group Managing Director of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Mr Mele Kyari has said that the pipeline which rekindles at 5.10 am on Monday were caused by residual fires in the neighbourhood.
Kyari who was onsite with the governor of  Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu at Abule Ado on Monday for reassessment of the inferno  in a tweet said: ”The combined team of NNPC, NN, LASG and FFS have effectively controlled the fire.”
His tweet @MKKyari says: ”Lagos explosion update: NNPC pipeline fire reignited at 5.10 am by residual fires in the neighbourhood.
”Combined team of NNPC, NN, LASG and FFS have effectively controlled the fire and steps taken to forestall any reignition.”
 He added that steps are being taken to forestall any reignition.
Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his part said that the Lagos State government is working with NEMA, NNPC and other agencies to make life easier for everyone affected in the tragic incident at Abule Ado.
His tweet @jidesanwoolu states: ”We are working with NEMA, NNPC and other agencies to make life easier for everyone affected in the tragic incident at Abule Ado which claimed lives and caused extensive property damage.
”I offer my condolences to everyone affected
