Labour Unions In Kano Threaten Strike Over Slash In Salaries

The Labour unions in Kano have given the state government two weeks to reverse its decision to slash workers’ May salary.

They threatened seven days warning strike if the decision is not reversed before the end of 14 days.

This was stated by Kabiru Ado Minjibir, the chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress in Kano during a press conference.

The unions say the cut was abrupt and without notification.
