NERDC Boss Gets LAN’s Highest Award December 3

National Executive Council of Linguistics Association of Nigeria (LAN), has honoured Professor Ismaila Junaidu, the Executive Secretary of the National Education Research and Development Council (NERDC) with the Fellowship of the Association.
The Fellowship of the Association is adjudged the highest award of LAN.
According to the authorities of LAN, the choice of the distinguished Professor Junaidu for the prestigious award was informed by his unbeatable records of the illustrious and scrupulous roles he plays as a committed member.
In a letter of offer addressed to Professor Junaidu which was signed by MNAL, National President, Professor Harrison Adeniyi, acknowledge Junaidu contributions to the development of Nigerian languages.
Professor Adeniyi said: “The award is informed by the unbeatable records of the illustrious and scrupulous roles you have played as a committed member.
Professor Ismail Junaidu, Executive Secretary NERDC,
“Moreover, is in acknowledging your contributions to the development of Nigerian languages, the Association and in recognition of the heights you have achieved as a Full Professor of Linguistics.”
Adeniyi said LAN is optimistic that the Award would spur Professor Junaidu to do more for the Association and Nigerian languages.
Professor Adeniyi said that the ceremony for the award would hold during the opening ceremony of CLAN slated for Tuesday 3 December 2019 at the Customs Command and Staff College, Gwagwalada, FACT, Abuja at 10 am.
