Police Detains Fake Soldier In Kebbi

One phony army soldier was detained by Kebbi State Area Command agents of the Nigerian police.
In Kebbi, car dealers were said to have agreed to sell Faisal Saidu from Kawarin Kudi Zango local government in Katsina state a Honda Jazz for two million, two hundred thousand naira (N2,200,000). Shortly after the deal was struck, Saidu reportedly left to test the car while wearing military camouflage but never returned.

Owners of the automobile, concerned about his delay, called the police, who initiated a manhunt for the bogus soldier and captured him in Katsina state.
The car has been found and the suspect has admitted to the theft. The suspect is being held by police pending the results of the inquiry before being charged in court.
Criminals were advised by CP Musa Titus to avoid Kebbi since his troops were always prepared to smoke out criminal elements wherever they were.
