Police Apprehend One of Six COVID-19 Escapees From Isolation Centre

One of the six coronavirus patients who escaped from an isolation centre in Ejigbo, Osun State on Friday night have been arrested by the Police.

Osun State  Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ismail Omipidan who confined it said the Police has on Saturday returned the woman to the Isolation facility in Ejigbo, Osun State.

Recall that six persons, who have tested positive for COVID-19, have escaped from an isolation centre in Ejigbo, Osun State on Friday night.

The six persons belong to a cluster of COVID-19 cases who returned to their hometown, Ejigbo, from Ivory Coast last week. They were quarantined by the state government.
