Ghanaian President – Buhari Will Be Remembered Fondly By Posterity

GHANA
President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, stated that history will be kind to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Akufo-Addo made the remarks while releasing two volumes on Buhari’s legacies at the presidential palace in Abuja.
Akufo-Addo also stated that the world will miss President Buhari’s leadership abilities when he leaves office.
Buhari will take over the presidency to President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on May 29 after serving two eight-year terms.
Akufo-Addo stated that Buhari’s leadership qualities will be missed by ECOWAS, Africa, and the globe at large.
“As leaders, we all have our highs and lows, but I have no doubt that posterity will be kind to Muhammadu Buhari,” he remarked.
“President Buhari, you will be missed. Your leadership will be missed in West Africa, Africa, and throughout the world. The leadership of a former military ruler turned consummate democracy who was very concerned about Nigeria’s and Africa’s interests and sought principles in all decisions he made.
“I’ve never had a book written about me, let alone written one myself.” I have 19 months till I leave office, so I guess I’ll take a cue from my senior and hope the books will say something nice about me.”

Abdulsamad Rabiu, head of BUA Group, generously donated N200 million to acquire copies of the books.
Aliko Dangote, the chairman of the Dangote Group, provided N100 million to purchase copies of both books, while Muhammed Idimi paid the same amount.
