Soludo Wins 17 LGAs To Keep APGA Hope Alive In Anambra

Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has won 17 Local Government Areas of Anambra to keep the hope of APGA retaining the state alive.

Soludo, its candidate in the ongoing gubernatorial election, is currently leading in more than two-thirds of the Local Government Areas of the state.

Senator Ifeanyi Uba of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and Mr Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have won one LGA each.

While Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is yet to win any LGA.

Results of two LGAs are being expected for the exercise to be brought to a close.

Although there are 21 LGAs in Anambra, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared that elections did not hold in Ihiala LGA.
