Delta Erects Body On Unauthorized Revenue Agents

The Joint Taskforce on Road Tax and Revenue Leakages, led by Mr. Malachi Moye, was mandated to work closely with the state police command by the Delta State Security Council on Tuesday to combat illegal revenue agents.

The action was taken to stop the unwholesome actions of illicit revenue agents.

This was written in a letter addressed to the Delta State Police Command and signed by Mr. David Tonwe, Director-General (Security Matters), State Security Council.

FG Refutes Closure of MTN, Airtel and Glo for Elections

The director-general stated the State Security Council has established a special committee to reverse the negative trend while expressing alarm about the growth of revenue task teams in the state.

In order to enforce the order, he also requested the state police command’s assistance.

The state government’s wish to see that revenue touts’ unlawful acts were stopped was reiterated in the letter, which the Department of State Services received a copy of as well.
