3 Imprisoned For Stealing Nigerian Flag From Zuma Tourism Site

Three companions were each given a nine-month prison sentence by a Niger State magistrates’ court in Suleja LGA for breaking into a tourist attraction at Zuma Rock and stealing things, including the Nigerian flag.
According to the prosecution, Blessing Y. Alkali, the defendants, Faisal Saidu (25), Shehu Salisu (20), and Aminu Habibu (25), all from the state’s Bida LGA, broke into Zuma World, a tourist destination close to Madalla town, on October 9 and stole things, including the Nigerian flag.
She claimed that following that, they proceeded to an adjacent house and took money, three mobile phones, a watch, and N40,000.
Moreover, the prosecutor informed the jury that once the defendants were apprehended by vigilantes, all of the objects they had stolen from Zuma World, including two uniforms, iron rods, and the Nigerian flag, had been found in their possession.

The suspects entered a guilty plea and begged for pardons.
They were given prison terms of six months for the first offense, another six months for the second charge, and nine months for the third charge by Magistrate Joy Asabe Shaba.
The offenders did had the option to pay N30,000 for each of the first two offenses and N50,000 for each of the third-degree charges.
