The American university has responded to reports that the Labour Party’s Lagos State governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes- Vivour’s, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT Certificate, is forged.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour did not attend MIT at any level, according to earlier reports.
It came from an email purportedly from MIT in response to an enquiry that the LP candidate had never attended the school.
The MIT Registrar’s Office was initially asked to search for a variation of Mr Rhodes-name Vivour’s that did not match the information in their database,” said Sarah McDonnell, MIt is Deputy Director, Media Relations, in an interview with PREMIUM TIMES. They can confirm that Mr Rhodes-Vivour attended MIT and earned a Master of Architecture after further investigation.
Mr Rhodes-Vivour obtained a Master’s Degree in Architecture after studying at the institution between 2005 and 2008.
