My Today Determines My Tomorrow

The adage “My today determines my tomorrow” has many clues to help us never regret tomorrow. “My today determines my tomorrow”. My today and tomorrow mean that today is but tomorrow’s memory, and tomorrow is today’s dream.

Today is the day to do something worth living for in the future. Today is also the determinant of your tomorrow’s happiness and joy.  While tomorrow’s living and joy are the outcomes of your struggle for success today.

Your today can either mar or make your tomorrow depending on how you lead the way for your tomorrow. Because a student who spends all of his/her time dedicating him/herself to studying will definitely have a 95% of succeeding in future. Because he has started the success of tomorrow by laying down the principles and setting the goal standard of today.

A student who misuses all his time in flimsy or unworthy things that never get him honoured will definitely have a 95% chance of being a failure tomorrow if precautions are not adequately given to him today.

Not only academics determine our tomorrow. Our physical well-being is determined by the way we balance our diet and how we structure the fitness and stability of our body.

For instance, a person who eats a balanced meal every time will be physically fit and have good health also. But taking it vice versa, a person who does not balance his/her diet will have some deficiencies like obesity, rickets, beriberi, scurvy, night blindness and so on.

A person who does not participate in a sport like jogging has a tendency to accumulate fat because jogging and sport help reduce the fat accumulated in the body.  And this keeps you fit to have a better physical structure tomorrow.

Our moral standards, principles and characters can be described as an individual’s disposition to think, feel and behave in an ethical and unethical manner.

Our characteristics determine a lot about our tomorrow. As an adage says that whatever you sow you shall reap. A child with good morals who respect elders will definitely be respected by his younger ones.

Our today determines our tomorrow. For instance, a child who helps his elders to carry loads, greet and respect them today, will definitely be respected by their younger ones too because as the saying goes thus”respect is reciprocal”.

As quoted by Adesulu Damilola: “Your tomorrow follows the footprint of your today”, in the sense that what we do today gives birth to the positive or negative result of tomorrow.

Final-Year Medical Student Who Worked As Food Vendor During ASUU Strike Is Dead

As we all know that every day is pregnant for the next day. Today is pregnant for tomorrow is the hard work of today.
Other quotes which finally picture us into the achievement of tomorrow’s success are:
—Your life is a result of the choices today….if you like your life, it is time to start making better choices.
—Everything you do now is for your future….think about that.
—The decision you make today will not just affect your tomorrow but will determine your future.
—The struggle you’re in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.
—Your future is created by what you do today not tomorrow.

Lastly, your tomorrow’s success follows the footprint of your today’s hard work. So that when you finally leave today for tomorrow the memories of today’s hard work and struggle will be brought back, and you will smile in excitement because you finally achieved your aim and you are at the peak. And finally, you will look back and say with living joy “I did really determine the progress of my tomorrow with the unrelenting hard work of today, and I achieved it. What an awesome future I’ve got”.
