Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Ministerial Task Team on Traffic Control, has demolished illegal toilet structures at the Nyanya market. It also demolished the toilets beside the bridge on Jikwoyi road.
Mr Ikharo Attah, chairman of the team said the measure was to rid Nyanya road of traffic congestion
Attah said erecting structures within the market near Nyanya Bridge was against the Abuja Master Plan.
”Illegal structure is also against Development Control Regulations,” he said.
He warned marketers and investors in the area to always seek approval from FCT Development Control and other relevant agencies before building any structure.
