Edo State House of Assembly has passed the sum of N179, 212, 812.50 as budget for the 2020 fiscal year.
Governor Godwin Obaseki had in November presented a budget proposal of N177.601bn.
The budget passed by the lawmakers has an increment of N1, 611,000bn.
Speaker Francis Okiye said the passed budget was a demonstration of the facts that the Economic Team and Executive Component could do a lot better than expected.
