Another Precision Airstrike Hit Iraqi’s PMP Militias

Another airstrike hit the Medical convoy of the Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF), killed and wounded several people during the early hours of Saturday.

The airstrike is coming barely 24 hours after the PMF’s deputy leader and top Iranian military commander, Qassem Soleimani, was killed in an airstrike carried out by the US.

PMF is an Iraqi state-sponsored umbrella organisation which consists of 40 militias that are mostly Shia Muslim groups.

Iraqi military and the US-led coalition have, however, denied the latest airstrike on the PMF’s medical convoy.

A report by CNN states that another airstrike has been carried out in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, killing and wounding several people in the early hours of Saturday, January 4.

The American news media reports that Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF) said the fresh airstrike targetted a convoy of the medical units of the group.
