Court Of Appeal Affirms Bello As Kogi Gov Elect

The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Saturday has upheld the election of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

His gubernatorial election victory was challenged after the November 16, 2019 poll.

The appeals dismissed were filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, the Actions People’s Party, the Social Democratic Party and the Democratic People’s Party.

In a unanimous agreement, the five-man panel of the court led by Justice Adamu Jauro dismissed the four appeals for lacking in merit.
