For a reason best known to the Nigeria Police Force, its operatives on Wednesday have taken over the Edo House of Assembly complex in Benin City.
Led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Ayoola Ajala, many of the police officers were physically present at the complex with their patrol vehicles stationed around the building.
