NECO Exams For JSS3 Students Begin August 24

Junior Secondary School (JSS3) students who registered for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) have been enjoined by the Lagos State to prepare for their examination slated for August 24.

National Examinations Council (NECO) is the organizer of the JSS3 examination.

Such students have been mandated by the Lagos State resumed at their various schools on Monday, August 10.

Speaking in this regard, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, the Lagos State Education Commissioner, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, said the JSS3 pupils who registered for the BECE conducted by the Lagos State Examinations Board (LSEB) are not to resume yet.

She made this known in a statement through her House, Public Affairs, Lagos State Ministry of Education, Mr Kayode Abayomi.

She maintained that only those students who registered for NECO BECE which is scheduled to commence on the 24th of August, 2020 are permitted to resume.

Adefisayo urged administrators in both public and private schools to ensure full compliance with the COVID-19 guidelines for schools re-opening in their schools. She noted that the government’s officials would move round to monitor compliance levels.
