Yoruba World Congress Leader Emeritus Professor Banji Akintoye has refuted the rumours making rounds that top YWC leaders and members of the Leaders Council have been removed.
Recall that a few days ago, social media has been awash with the removal of top YWC leaders and members of the Leaders Council.
Contrary to speculation and insinuation, the leadership of the apex Yoruba group has said that it was not true, adding that its leaders and members of Council are intact.
According to the fake news, the leaders mentioned to have been removed include Dr Amos Akingba, Akogun Tola Adeniyi, Prof. Anthony Kila and Mr Solagbade Popoola.
However, Prof Banji Akintoye after a conversation with the Secretary-General in Lagos announced that the YWC Leaders Council remains intact.
