Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi’s recent confession has shown that the ruling APC is quietly providing official cover for corrupt officials, the major opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP alleges.
Its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, Monday said that the position of Amaechi was clear proof that “the All Progressives Congress is a haven of thieves and treasury looters.”
Amaechi was quoted in an interview with a national newspaper over the weekend to have said that stealing was going on quietly under President Muhammadu Buhari led APC regime.
In a release titled, ‘Amaechi’s APC looting confession vindicates PDP.’, Ologbondiyan said the situation as presented by Amaechi showed that “quiet stealing is a policy of the APC administration.
PDPAccording to PDP, the APC has turned ”government agencies to cash cows and Automated Teller Machines for themselves, their cronies, family members and mistresses.”
