Few minutes ago, President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja conformed the reappointed of the embattle CBN governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The President has written to the Senate to seek legislative approval for another tenure for Emefiele, whose tenure empires on June 2, 2019.
President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, read the letter on the floor shortly before the plenary was adjourned.
