In a major shake-up in Lagos State politics, members of the Lagos State House of Assembly have impeached Speaker Mudashiru Obasa over allegations of abuse of office and gross misconduct.
Following the impeachment, the lawmakers elected Mojisola Meranda, the representative of Apapa I, as the new Speaker of the Assembly.
