Another Dies Of COVID-19 In Lagos

Lagos State Commissioner for Health,  Professor Akin Abayomi has announced a fresh COVID-19 related deaths.

He disclosed this through his Twitter handle on Tuesday.

He stated that although the state had no fresh cases as at 20th of April,  there were related deaths from coronavirus.

”One of the deceased was a 45- year old Nigerian man who returned from India in January,” he said.

Abayomi’s Tweets: “No new case of #COVID19 was confirmed in Lagos on 20th April 2020.

“However, #COVID19 related deaths were recorded in Lagos. One of the deceased was a 45 years old Nigerian male who returned from India in January 2020.”

So far, Lagos state has a total of 379 confirmed cases, 98 has been discharged, 260 active cases and 16 deaths.
