At an incident which happened in the Oktitipupa area of Ondo State, an armed robber was shot dead by his colleague in a fleeing scene
Witnesses said the robbers had robbed a Point of Sales operator and attempted to run away when the victim raised the alarm.
Residents gave chase and in an attempt to scare off the mob, one of the hoodlums fired shots into the air but mistakenly hit his colleague in the head.
The witnesses said policemen from the Okitipupa Police Division recovered two guns and a bag snatched from the POS operator from the dead robber.
The other robbers were caught, The Nation reports.
