Nigeria has on Sunday records 555 new COVID-19 Cases, as total cases across the country hit over 40,000.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this on Sunday via its official twitter handle.
It declared that Nigeria totals COVID-19 cases now 40,532 with 858 deaths recorded and 17,374 discharged cases.
NCDC released data shows that Lagos State had 156 cases, followed by Kano with 65 cases and Ogun 57 cases.
Followed by Plateau-54 Oyo-53 Benue-43 FCT-30 Ondo-18 Kaduna-16 Akwa Ibom-13 Gombe-13 Rivers-12 Ekiti-9 Osun-8 Cross River-3 Borno-2 Edo-2 Bayelsa-1.
