Dangote Group Trains 60 Selected Journalists In North East

Dangote group of companies in collaboration with Folio Creative and Academy has commenced a three-day critical media practical training on convergence journalism to 60 selected journalists in the North East.

Speaking during the commencement of the training on Monday in Yola, the Cooperative Media Officer of the Dangote group,  Jibril Abubakar said that the training was conceived to upgrade the capacity of practising journalists on multimedia skills as part of the corporate social responsibility of the company.

He added that the training was also an avenue to improve online media production and journalists entrepreneur.

Abubakar said the company had designed several media interventions to strengthen relationships with practising journalists and public relations practitioners across the country.

Earlier in his remark, the Project Coordinator of the Fodio Academy, Pius Alabi said the objectives of the training was to equip journalists, media executive, public relations officers and other professionals.
