Lagos Discharges 45 COVID-19 Patients Saturday

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has on Saturday announced the discharged of 45 COVID-19 patients from its isolation facilities after fully recovered and tested negative.

Sanwo -Olu in a statement said the forty-five persons were made up of 22 females and 23 males.

Speaking in the same vein via a tweet, the Commissioner for Health, Mr Akin Abayomi, on Saturday said the patients include 22 females and 23 males.

Abayomi further explained that 19 were from the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, three from Onikan, eight from Agidingbi, seven from Lekki, one from Eti-Osa and seven from LUTH.

This now brings the total number of recovered and discharged persons in the state to 707.

Thus far, Lagos State has recorded 3,240 cases and 46 death.
