A three-man panel of the Court of Appeal in Abuja has upheld the death sentence handed to Maryam Sanda who was convicted for killing her husband, Bilyaminu Bello.
,Bilyaminu Bello was a cousin of former Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Haliru Bello.
Maryam Sanda, a mother of one was earlier this year, sentenced to death by hanging by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama.
