The major opposition party in Nigeria – the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has urged President, Muhammadu Buhari to resign immediately, adding that the number one citizen of the most populous black African nation has failed in protecting the lives and property of his citizens.
Uche Secondus, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party on Friday made this urgent call in Abuja, decried that Buhari has continued to fail to proffer solutions to the growing insecurity in the country.
Speaking on ‘Nigeria a free fall as corruption, Insecurity engulfs our nation,’ during the media briefing, Secondus, pointed out that it was now evident Buhari government has run out of propaganda with regards to the worsening security situation in Nigeria.
He said: ”The recent decision of over 300 soldiers to resign from service and the call by the National Assembly for the service chiefs to resign speaks volumes.
