Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has tested negative to the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
The cheering news was contained in a statement signed by the party’s national publicity secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, and released on Friday night in Abuja.
The two-paragraph statement reads: “Following fears he could have physically interacted with the person[s] who tested positive to the coronavirus, Oshiomhole presented himself for a test on Thursday and it has just been confirmed that the result returned negative”.

Oshiomole was reported to have had meetings with some chieftains of the party that had tested positive to the dreaded and contagious Covid-19 during the leadership crisis of the ruling party.
