Uba Obinna Agbaso, a musician in Imo State, also known as Ababanna, has been arrested by police for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl.
Ababanna was alleged to have forcibly and repeatedly had carnal knowledge of the girl.
The incident happened in Emoha in Owerri North council area of the state, the kit was learnt.
Police prevented youths of the community from “unleashing mayhem” on the musician.
Police spokesman, SP Orlando Ikeokwu could not confirm the incident before press time.
