On Saturday, unknown gunmen attacked the Staff quarters of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic in Zaria and abducted a lecturer and two children, and shot one person.
It was gathered that victim of the gunshot wound is receiving treatment at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital.
The school Public Relations Officer, Abdallah Shehu when contacted said he was at a meeting and promised to call back as soon as he was done.
However, the Kaduna State Police Command confirmed the incident saying it occurred around 10 pm adding that the injured person has been moved to ABU Teaching Hospital for treatment.
Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige said: “We are on top of the situation. The entire area has been combed by the police and we are trying to rescue the victims.”
