The Complacency Of Super Eagles That Cost Them 4-4 Draw With Leone Stars

The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone on Friday evening came back from 4-0 down to draw 4-4 against the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

This happened because the Super Eagles could not sustain their early 4-0 lead at the first half.

Alex Iwobi scored twice Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze had given Nigeria a 4-0 lead, before Kwame Quee, Al-Hadji Kamara (two goals) and Mustapha Bundu getting the goals for Sierra Leone with the second leg taking place on Tuesday in Freetown.

Nigeria is still on top of Group L with seven points,
