Sanusi In Nasarawa, The Gov In Closed-door Meeting With Buhari

LEVI JOHNSON

Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule has paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari Wednesday before the start of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The duo met at the Presidential villa at about 11 am. However, the thrust of their discussion was not made public after the closed-door meeting.

But it is believed the meeting may not be unconnected with the fate of the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II.

Sanusi is currently on exile in Nasarawa State after being dethroned on Monday by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State.

Meanwhile, the former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso this morning during his interview with the BBC said President Buhari ordered the dethronement of Muhammad Sanusi II.

Kwankwaso also refuted the allegation that his administration queried Sanusi three-time. ”I never issued a query to Muhammad Sanusi for once,” he explained
