Presidency Denies Having Presidential Broadcast Today Monday

BY DAYO ADESULU

The Presidency has denied reports that President Muhammadu Buhari would be making a national broadcast Monday

Mr Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity in a tweet debunked the claim.

According to him, no presidential broadcast was planned for today (Monday), stressing that whatever update available would be passed on by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) during its usual briefings.

Femi’s tweet: “No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. None was planned.

”Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps”, the tweet read.”

Aliyu Sani, the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, had Sunday night said that President Muhammadu Buhari would address the nation in a broadcast on Monday 18.
