Ogun Workers Suspend Strike

Ogun State workers have on Friday suspended their industrial warning strike following an agreement reached between the state government and the organised labour unions.

It was gathered that the state government has agreed to address workers’ demands on minimum wage and gratuity.

The warning strike which began on Wednesday has now been called off.

Emmanuel Bankole, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Chairman in Ogun state announced this after their meeting in the Governor’s office. He said all workers should return to work immediately.
