BREAKING: ASUU Gets N70b, Agrees To Call-off 8-Month-Old Strike

At last, after the Federal Government agreed to offer N70 billion to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, it has agreed to call off its eight-month-old strike.

Authorities of ASUU on Friday night in Abuja reached the consensus during a meeting with the government team led by the Minister of Labour and Employment,  Dr Chris Ngige.

In the meeting, the government pledged to increase the total payment to ASUU by N70 billion.
