Court order restraining AGF, DSS from arresting Igboho extended

High Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State has on Monday extended an interim order restraining Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), the Department of State Services, from arresting, killing, or harassing Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Igboho.

Justice Ladiran Akintola who presided over the case also extended the order stopping the DSS and AGF from freezing the accounts of the embattled activist facing trial in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

The case has been adjourned till September 7, 2021, for hearing.
