Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC), has arrived in Kaduna ahead of Tuesday’s launch of the North West campaign.
At the Dana Air wing of the Nigerian Airbase in the state, he was welcomed by State Governor Nasir El’rufai. Top APC officials, including Simon Lanlong, the governor of Plateau State and director-general of the campaign, accompanied the party’s presidential flagbearer.
Around 2:30 pm, the presidential candidate of the APC and his entourage landed in the state aboard the Kanem Air, a private aircraft.
Among the governors in the group were Abdullahi Ganduje, the governor of Kano State, Abubakar Badaru, the governor of Jigawa State, and Atiku Bagudu, the governor of Kebbi State.
When party supporters gathered at the location to welcome him, Tinubu, who was dressed in a “blue agbada,” waved to them. Prior to tomorrow’s campaign rally, he is anticipated to meet with stakeholders tonight.
