Kidnappers Release Corps Member After Family Payed Close To 100m

On Sunday, one of the kidnapping victims from the banditry attack on the Relocation II Estate, Arab Road, on the Kubwa, Abuja, last Tuesday was purportedly liberated from the robbers after a ransom was reportedly paid.
Remember that during the Tuesday night raid, Adenike was kidnapped together with six other people as the bandits fired irregularly, killing two victims while other locals hid for their life.
Although the gunmen requested a ransom of close to 100 million naira, sources claim that the ransom paid for Adenike’s release is a far cry from the demand.
Two male children, an elderly woman, three male adults, and more victims are reportedly still in the kidnappers’ den.
It is true that Adenike has been released and is now at home with the family, according to a source close to the family. We praise God that she arrived home safely. For her release, a ransom was indeed paid. We ask for the swift release of the others.
