Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the next president, returned to the country on Saturday after a 10-day holiday in Europe in advance of his inauguration on May 29.
Just two weeks after his return from a three-nation tour that included stops in London, Saudi Arabia, and Paris, Tinubu left the country on May 10.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was welcomed by a number of people at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, including Kano governor Abdullahi Ganduje, House deputy speaker Idris Wase, and Senate president Ahmad Lawan.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu visit is a part of his attempts to work with some of his senior aides to improve the transition plans, programs, and policy alternatives.
The travel became essential, according to a prior statement from the Office of the President-elect signed by Tunde Rahman, so that Tinubu could complete various responsibilities free from undue stress and interruptions.
Rahman had said, “He will take advantage of the trip to fine-tune the transition plans and programs, as well as his policy options, with some of his key aides without undue pressure or distraction.”
