Israel has intensified its military campaign against Iran, launching overnight strikes that, for the first time in the current operation, reportedly hit targets in Isfahan and Shiraz.
Israeli officials said more than 20 strategic sites were struck during the coordinated assault. Among the targets were facilities allegedly used to store advanced Ghadr ballistic missiles, a long-range weapons system considered a key component of Iran’s missile capability.
According to Israeli military sources, the operation focused on degrading Iran’s missile infrastructure before additional projectiles could be deployed. Officials claimed that dozens of ballistic and cruise missiles were destroyed in a single night, preventing their launch.
Missile Storage Facilities Targeted
The reported strikes on Isfahan and Shiraz mark a significant geographic expansion of the campaign. Both cities are known to host sensitive military and industrial installations.
