Man Arrested in Adamawa for “Killing Minor”

A 40-year-old man named Barnabas Abduneza has been detained by the Adamawa state police command for allegedly killing a newborn in the hamlet of Kadamti in the local government area of Numan.
In a statement, SP Sulaiman Yahaya Nguroje, the command’s police public relations officer, stated that the police had also found a black face mask, a dagger, a bow and arrow, and several dangerous weapons.

The baby was died, said the statement, on September 29, 2022, after the mother was attacked and suffered serious injuries.
In response to the crime, “The Command operatives attached to Numan Division, Men of operation Farauta, and good Samaritans sprung into action and apprehended One.”
According to genuine and trustworthy information, the suspect, Barnabas Abduneza, 40, a resident of Kpasham village in the Demsa local government region, was apprehended.
The Divisional Police Officer of Numan, the Men of Operation Farauta, and the good citizens of Numan LGA were thanked by the Commissioner of Police, SK Akande, for their valiant efforts in helping to make the successful arrest.
The Deputy Commissioner CID has been ordered by the CP to take charge of the investigation and guarantee successful prosecution.
